One could say that our partnership and certainly our friendship started in 2002 as we embarked on our studies to become Global Business Engineers. 

After graduation we managed to maintain our close friendship despite job relocations.

By chance, our careers briefly merged in 2022 which gave us the incentive to create something together from scratch. 

Navia Wind was founded in 2025 and is a partnership built on decades of friendship between Kasra Jamshidi and Tom S. Nicolaisen, united under a name that reflects our core focus on renewables and wind energy in particular.

Today, we proudly draw on a combined 38 years of  global experience in renewable energy projects, spanning all project development phases and from both supply and developer perspectives.
